Hello!
How are you? Thank you for being here. It means a lot to me.
My goodness, Autumn is knocking on our doorstep and I am really looking forward to my favourite season which marks the transition of slowing down. Lately, I have been feeling my energy levels dropping which is unusual for me. I am trying to just observe this situation and gently listen to what I need in those small pockets of my day without putting pressure on myself to do too many ‘things’. And, yes, there have been a few 30 minute afternoon naps on the couch (and, I am loving them). There is nothing quite like a little noticing and self care. As women, we sometimes forget to do this.
Recently, I decided that ocean swimming is going to be a firm part of my life long-term. So, I made the investment to recruit an open water swim coach. His name is Nicholas Robertson - a knowledgeable swim teacher who has a deep passion for our natural world and a gentle and nurturing coaching style. My personal goal is to effortlessly swim longer distances in the ocean whilst being immersed in nature. There is a lot to learn and I am taking it very slow. It is a highlight of my week and a gift to myself as I approach my 50th milestone in April.
I hope you enjoy reading This March in our Village and please do take those quiet moments this month.
Take care, Silvia xx
