Hear from our Community

“Being part of such a beautiful day with a community of people, led by Silvia and a group of inspiring speakers, made me realise even more how deeply we all need a village around us, people who lift us, nurture us, and remind us we’re not alone. That’s exactly what this day brought for me.

Silvia created a day with such intention: a special morning tea, a delicious shared lunch prepared by a renowned chef, and speakers who showed up with honesty, openness, and vulnerability. All of this unfolded on a stunning property that truly set the tone for the experience.

It gave me the opportunity to meet new people, hear their stories, and simply be present in the moment.

Thank you, Silvia, for giving us the space, the landscape, and the heart to come together in this way.”

Spring Huddle

“Such a special day, Silvia had thought of everything. It felt like I walked into a sanctuary of friendships, peace, laughter, such thoughtful conversation and beautiful food.”

Sue Heward

“Villagio’s Spring Huddle was a wonderful day spent among a group of diverse, talented, compassionate and courageous women. Babbington Park, the home of Chef Annie Smithers and Susan Thompson, was the perfect venue, and despite the inclement weather, we were warm and sustained by delicious food and inspiring speakers, Jade Miles (Black Barm Farm) and Sue Heward (Singing Magpie Produce).  Thank you Silvia for all your hard work in bringing the day to fruition, and I look forward to our next gathering.”

“It has been a privilege to be part of Silvia Regos’ Villagio community over the past 3 years. I believe the supportive community Siliva has been building over these years is so very important for women of all ages.

Silvia does this in many gentle and respectful ways. Her almost daily posts on Instagram are inspiring. Sharing recipes, how she is caring for herself, learning new skills and building her village. Always that warm smile, gentle manner and lovely messages. Reminding me of the importance of caring for yourself and connecting with those around you, family, friends and neighbours.

I am also a member of the Villagio Cookbook Club. A group of lovely women who meet once a month online to discuss a previously nominated cookbook. It’s so enjoyable to get together with likeminded “food” women, from around Australia, who share a range of food stories, ideas and life.

Thank you, Silvia, for your leadership in this nurturing and caring community of women.”

Words fail me to express my appreciation for the Beautiful Spring Huddle Day made possible by Silvia and your Villagio team. Every little detail considered and lovingly prepared. We all felt like honoured and familiar guests at a very special gathering.

Babbington Park was the quintessential setting for the inaugural meeting of The Villagio Group’s Spring Huddle. We were greeted by stunning spring flower arrangements, warm welcoming smiles and a sumptuous morning tea. Two thought provoking speakers had us all opening up to new possibilities and adventures. The delicious long table shared lunch proved opportunities to meet everyone and share further discussions. It was a wonderful day, I left with my heart open in gratitude and restored in spirit from spending such a day in the company of inspiring women. Thank you for the opportunity you have provided by bringing the Villagio community together.”

I am impressed with how well she runs the cookbook club and how comfortable I was made to feel even on my first session. I love speaking with Silvia and the community members about recipes and food tips. I look forward to it each month.”
